Wearing Masks – The Apartments

In a time when the community prevalence of COVID-19 is significant, we are requiring that visitors wear a medical grade mask at all times when on the Menno Place campus or while visiting as a Registered or Designated visitor. This includes inside a resident’s apartment suite (Independent Living), during a safe visit (Assisted Living, Long Term Care), going on a walk or taking a resident on an essential outing. If you are enjoying a meal with your loved one, ensure that you are 6 feet apart and that you are wearing a mask at all times when you are not eating or drinking.

Dining Rooms – Pavilion and Primrose Gardens

The dining rooms in Pavilion and Primrose Gardens are closed during this time while there is COVID-19 related isolation taking place. Terrace West has no COVID-19 related isolation, although there are isolation carts. There is no change to Terrace West or Terrace East dining.

Isolation Carts – The Apartments

If your loved one has an isolation cart at their apartment suite, you must wear FULL Personal Protective Equipment to enter the suite and be with them.

This includes:

Goggles, Surgical mask, Gown

Instructions for use are located at the isolation cart. Don the gear (put it on) before you enter the suite. Doff (take it off) and dispose at exit.
