  • We have a suggestion from a Housekeeper (former Visitation Host) on E2 Home – she is wondering if family would let Menno Place know if there is something that she could do for a resident as she cleans their room. She gave the example that she knows that a wife sings a German children’s song to her husband when she visits. Since she also knows German, she sang this song to the resident while cleaning his room. She is hoping that she can sing for other residents as well. Please email Sharon.Simpson@mennoplace.ca with any requests for residents in E2 Home.

COVID-19 Vaccination has begun!

We are pleased to let you know that Menno Place began the COVID-19 mRNA (Pfizer / BionTech) vaccination program today. 10 of our frontline staff received the first step of this two-step vaccination this afternoon. Fraser Health is communicating with us day-by-day to let us know the numbers of staff that we can have vaccinated each day. We are very excited about being able to bring this level of safety to Menno Place.

Here is a photo of our much-appreciated Manager of Dining Experience, Angela Ross-Fehr happily sharing her record of immunization.
