COVID POSITIVE UPDATE – January 6– 2021 – Pavilion Independent Living
NEW COVID POSITIVE CASES = 1
NUMBER OF RESIDENT SUITES ON ISOLATION = 25 (All of the 3rd floor)
TOTAL COVID POSITIVE CASES = 1 (1 resident / 0 staff)
PASSED AWAY = 0
ACTION: 
  • Date of exposure to COVID-19 in Pavilion is thought to be December 28, 2020.
  • All residents on the 3rd floor are on isolation by order of the Medical Health Officer. Residents have been informed.
  • All residents will be swabbed on January 7, 2021
  • The COVID-positive resident is not currently in Pavilion
  • We are waiting for some further investigation to determine if all suites will be put on isolation.
  • On isolation: If you have a pet that needs to be walked, it must be sent to someone else for care.
  • On isolation: Garbage pickup will be after lunch. Please have your garbage bag tied up and placed outside your door.
  • On isolation: You cannot go to the laundry room as you are not able to leave your suite.
  • Have your Registered Visitor drop off extra groceries to the kitchen between 9am – 12pm (7 days a week) if you need them.
  • Wear a mask when you are around anyone.
  • Hand hygiene – use hand sanitizer and wash your hands frequently.
  • Stay 6 feet away from everyone.
