Join your loved one for a Personal Butterfly Release on Friday, June 10th.
How can you create this special event for your loved one?
- Reserve your butterfly online using the form below.
- Pick up your butterfly at the courtyard gate between 2pm and 3pm on Friday, June 10th
- Go to your loved one’s room or apartment suite to enjoy releasing the butterfly together. You can do this in memory of a loved one or just for the joy of watching a butterfly fluttering near you.
If your loved one lives on W1 Home, you are invited to join the official Butterfly Release taking place in the courtyard. As we are still cohorting (not mixing) residents from one unit or apartment with others, this is the only unit that will be in-person for the program.
Residents of E1 Home and W2 Hospital are invited to release their butterflies in their closed-in areas of the courtyard.
The Butterfly Release event will be livestreamed to Menno TV (channel 59 in Home and Hospital / Channel 10 in the Apartments).
There is no cost for the butterfly this year. If you want to contribute to creating joyful moments for residents at Menno Place, please make a donation for pet therapy by CLICKING HERE.
Can’t be here in person? The Recreation staff will be releasing butterflies with residents across the campus. The Butterfly Release will be available online to view the recording after the event.
