NEW COVID POSITIVE CASES = 1 resident + 3 staff 

TOTAL COVID POSITIVE CASES = 18 (6 residents | 12 staff)

MOST RECENT COVID CASE = January 14, 2022

 

Menno Hospital E1 is now on Enhanced Monitoring. Most of the COVID positive residents are asymptomatic at this time.

  • Only VERY ESSENTIAL visits, no social visits
  • Audits continue – hand hygiene audit, PPE audit, environmental audit
  • All communal activity including dining stopped
  • All residents placed on droplet precautions – isolation and full PPE for staff and essential visits
  • All families of affected residents will be contacted.
  • Any symptomatic residents will be swabbed for COVID
