Cecil Frances Alexander wrote the hymn, “All Things Bright and Beautiful” as a song for children to explain the phrases and truths of the Christian faith expressed in the Apostles’ Creed. This series of hymns was published in 1848 in “Hymns for Little Children.” It became one of the most successful hymn-publishing projects in history, going through over one hundred editions.

UPDATE: The power has been restored.
We are currently experiencing a community-wide power outage. BC Hydro has a crew on-site. Menno Place has generators that will keep all critical systems up and running while we wait for full power to be restored.
In May and June the apartments residents were invited to celebrate Mother’s Day and Father’s Day with special breakfasts. During the event we were able to capture portraits of many of the residents who attended. We’re delighted to make these portraits available to the residents and their families and friends. You can download the images and save them on your computer and/or have them printed.
