Sujata Connors, CEO, has begun her work at Menno Place!

She will be touring the Menno Place campus, getting to know the staff and residents. Sujata has worked in direct care as a nurse in a bone marrow transplant unit, was in charge of COVID vaccination distribution to 2800 home-support clients in North Vancouver with Vancouver Coastal Health. Sujata understands the skills, heartaches, pressures and demands of direct care work, including the extraordinary pressures during the COVID pandemic.

Sujata brings to Menno Place the value of relationships between the staff and leadership. She is eager to listen to the stories and background of the staff who love and serve our residents. She practices a relationship-based leadership, giving deep regard to residents, families and staff.

Sujata is a collaborative leader who has learned much from the NUKA System of Care – this is a relationship-based, customer-owned approach to transforming health care, improving outcomes and reducing costs, originating in Anchorage, Alaska.
