It began with one woman and a sewing machine. Then something unexpected happened.

Sherry made a quilt and chose to give it away. That act of generosity became the Lift Up Your Hearts Quilt Raffle, raising almost $2,000 to support recreation programs and chaplaincy care for Independent Living seniors at Menno Place.

And now the quilt has a new home. Congratulations to Lana T. from Vancouver, BC, who will be sharing this beautiful handmade heirloom quilt with her son.

The quilt is the prize. The real win is the impact made together.
