Over 100 residents, families and friends have enjoyed the Chef’s Plate elevated dining experience at Primrose Gardens. It is open to all residents, families and staff who wish to enjoy a restaurant style meal without the pressure of tipping, taxes or managing challenges of mobility and transportation.
The meal was enjoyed by 51 people, many residents invited their loved ones to enjoy the evening together. Two families were delighted to bring their loved one from long-term care to enjoy this special dinner. There were two dinner choices along with soft drinks and both local red and white wine.
The next Chef’s Plate dinner is happening Saturday, August 22nd. Tickets are on sale now.

Residents of Menno Place receive 20% off the $38/meal price. The bill can be added to resident accounts or paid by credit card.
Seating begins at 5pm in the Primrose Gardens Dining Room.

To find the dining room, enter through the main doors of Primrose Gardens. Walk straight ahead and you’ll find the dining room on the left just past the elevators.

Coming dates: August 22 and September 26
At $38 a plate, dinner includes your choice of main course, dessert, and beverage (pop, juice, water, coffee or tea). Tax and tip are already included and Menno Place residents will enjoy a 20% discount.
A maximum of 60 tickets will be available per night.
