Feb 3: Time Limits Coming to Parking on Primrose St. and Brundige Ave.

Thank you for your patience as we worked with the City of Abbotsford toward a better solution to the street parking on Primrose Street and Brundige Avenue. Current construction has highlighted the difficulty with street parking in these locations.

Starting February 3, 2025 the city will be rezoning the parking along Primrose Street (west side) and Brundige Avenue (north and south sides). These areas are marked in orange on the map below.

Effective February 3, 2025:

  1. No more parking passes: Menno Place paper parking passes will no longer be recognized as permission to park on the street
  2. Maximum 1- OR 2-hour parking: Signs will be installed by the City of Abbotsford
  3. Time-limits enforced by the city: By-laws officers will monitor and enforce the maximum parking time by ticketing violators

This solution will address current concerns and create parking opportunities for families and visitors of Primrose Gardens and Terrace East.

After February 3, please report any violators of the time-limit to Abbotsford By-Laws: 604-864-5512
