On March 16, 2022, 2:30pm-3:30pm, Family & Friends Council will be meeting in person. The option of attending via Microsoft TEAMS will be offered as well if you cannot attend in person. Family and Friends is a regularly scheduled meeting for family members, friends or representatives of our residents in Menno Home and Menno Hospital. Our guest speakers will be Coordinator of Accreditation, Projects and Education Loveleen Sekhon and Recreation Support/Special Projects Bryan Gay.

As a young boy, the author of this month’s hymn, O God, Our Help in Ages Past, was challenged by his father to write better hymns for their congregation. Isaac Watts went on to be a prolific writer of hymns, theology, sermons and other works. Menno Home is taking part in a province-wide survey to tell us what we’re doing right and what needs improvement from the point of view of residents and their family members. Resident interviews will be conducted by volunteers between: January 31 – February 16, 2023. Family members will be emailed a separate survey.

A good-bye letter from Karen Biggs to the staff at Menno Place upon her retirement. Her last day of work at Menno Place is January 13, 2023.
Menno Place Campus is one of the largest senior’s care campuses in British Columbia. There are 700 seniors living on 11 acres across from the Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Menno Place is governed by the Mennonite Benevolent Society which founded faith-based seniors care on this location in 1953.
