Menno Home is taking part in a province-wide survey to tell us what we’re doing right and what needs improvement from the point of view of residents and their family members. Resident interviews will be conducted by volunteers between: January 31 – February 16, 2023. Family members will be emailed a separate survey.
Jesus Loves Me. Without doubt the hymn that has influenced children for Christ more than any other is this simply stated one, written in 1860 by Anna Bartlett Warner. A good-bye letter from Karen Biggs to the staff at Menno Place upon her retirement. Her last day of work at Menno Place is January 13, 2023.
This month’s hymn is a All Creatures of our God and King. This inspiring expression of praise found in nearly every hymnal was originally written in 1225 by one of the most interesting figures in all of church history. Giovanni Bernardone, who was better known as Saint Francis of Assisi, was a medieval monk who spent his lifetime as an itinerant evangelist, preaching and helping the poor people of Italy.

Our guest speakers will be Manager of Care Feldi Navarro and Menno Home Chaplain Ann Thakker.

Menno Place Campus is one of the largest senior’s care campuses in British Columbia. There are 700 seniors living on 11 acres across from the Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Menno Place is governed by the Mennonite Benevolent Society which founded faith-based seniors care on this location in 1953.
