Grandparents Day at Menno Place is a special time for kids of all ages to enjoy a fun-filled and whimsical afternoon with grandpa, grandma, or a special friend! Our courtyard will be transformed into a playland with a bouncy castle, live entertainment, yummy food, games, crafts and much more. Residents are excited to invite the ones they love to join in the fun!
We are gratefully accepting donations upon entrance.
Parking & Shuttle
Free limited parking is available on the Menno Place campus.
When you arrive, please bring your loved one from their unit or apartment into the courtyard to join in on the fun!
Parking is also available at CLA Church Abbotsford on the corner of Marshall and Ware (formerly Peace Lutheran). There will be a free shuttle that runs between the church and Menno Place every 15 minutes. Please park in the row of stalls closest to the fence only.

International Grandparents Day was first recognized in Canada in 1995. It is a family day intended to honour grandparents, give grandparents an opportunity to show love for their children’s children, and help children become aware of the strength, information and guidance older people can offer.
